Question: Coach, I have been dating a few women at once (playing the field) and it seems that all of a sudden, each one wants a commitment! I am assuming it is because Valentine’s Day is next month but I can’t choose. They are all beautiful creatures. Should I just let them all go?
Answer: I love that you’re doing what makes you happy, getting to know various women… beautiful creatures as you call them! 😉 Sounds like you’re being true to yourself having found wonderful women to get to know.
I’m assuming the communication with all of them thus far is that you are in ‘dating mode’ and not interested in an exclusive relationship yet, yes? Thank you for the courage to be honest with them and not lie or lead anyone on.
And now it seems they all desire you all to themselves! What a wonderful problem to have!! We should all be so lucky! 😉 Yes, perhaps it’s because of Valentine’s Day, perhaps it’s just because you’ve been dating for a while and they choose exclusivity or perhaps it’s because it’s because you’re just so amazing!
Regardless of the reason, I invite you not to go into conclusion that you have to let them all go if you don’t desire exclusivity with one. Stay open to what you desire.
Why don’t you just tell the truth?
For example, I”m really enjoying getting to know you. I”m not ready to date exclusively yet. I feel there’s more to explore and discover before that level of commitment. I understand if that’s what you desire and I honor your choice to stop dating me if you need that right now. Yet if you’d be open to continue dating for a few more weeks/months before deciding to date exclusively, I would consider it an honor to keep dating you. What works for you?
If you are NEVER interested in dating exclusively then you really ought to tell them that right up front, yet if you are simply enjoying a non exclusive lifestyle right now, just be honest!
And if you have to swing a Valentine’s Day breaky, lunch and dinner… so be it!
I would never want you to choose one out of pressure, or assume you have to be alone just to live your truth… there are always multiple possibilities if you keep asking questions and stay unattached to the results. I would never want you to be forced into anything then regret it, or have wandering eyes/actions and it all blows up in your face, yes?
True, worse case is that they all decline your invite to keep dating and you’re alone… yet at least you’re alone with your glorious self, your noble truth AND always connected on the deepest level to the whole Universe, to Nature, to Love and to You.

I really dislike it when I hear men call women “creatures”. Putting “beautiful” before it doesn’t change how degrading it sounds to call any human being a “creature”.
