Mariner creates a wild holodeck program in ‘Crisis Point’
Last time on Star Trek: Lower Decks, these friends found themselves on trial. They had no idea why they were there, and it looked like the main crew was in trouble. Someone kept asking them strange questions, with no clue as to how any of the star dates were connected. Yet as this episode came to a close, we learned things weren’t how they seemed to be. Now Mariner decides to take her friends on a wild ride in ‘Crisis Point’. I was able to watch a screener of this episode and here is what I thought of it.

The captain gives Mariner a tough order to follow in ‘Crisis Point’. After they mess up on a mission, they are ordered to see the ship therapist. The first session goes real bad, and makes Mariner take drastic action. She makes tweaks to a holodeck program Boimler made, and hopes to have a lot of fun with it. Boimler meanwhile tries to do all he can to prepare for an upcoming interview. Yet as this program reaches its conclusion, Mariner learns some good lessons from it. As this episode comes to an end Boimler learns a shocking secret.
