We have to first figure out what the purpose of life could possibly be; it will then be easier to recognize good.

I met a “good” man over a work-related schmoozing dinner…he was well-spoken, professional, energetic, and, oh so passionate about his work…he praised his colleagues, both men and women, for their intelligence and courage…he acknowledged prejudice and difficulties in his everyday dealings but he did not let that stop him on his mission to do good in the world…in fact, I would say he is a great man because he is an expert in his field but would never call himself a “great man”…his work is dedicated to those who can’t help themselves and while he recognizes their weaknesses, he also… Read more »
