Identifying men who are interested in forming a commitment with you is relatively easy. They don’t beat around the bush and are clear about what they want. Games are fun, but they will not play with you. Games and relationship games are two different things!
If a man is prepared to stay committed to a long-term relationship, he will nearly always show the signals that indicate this readiness. You merely need to be aware of what aspects to seek out.
1.He Has A Plan And Sticks To It
This differentiates emotionally mature adults from others who take life less seriously but are still children emotionally. There are times to be fun, and there are times to be serious. This man gets it.
A man is not necessarily committed to you if he only talks about how he feels, such as how much he loves you, how amazing it feels to be with you, or how much fun it is to be with you.
If he only talks about his feelings, for example, he just does what feels good and is not necessarily committed to you. Be cautious if a guy speaks a lot about his feelings but doesn’t connect those feelings to you and your relationship.
Adults who are responsible accept their responsibilities. They connect their feelings. They don’t talk about feelings because that’s what they feel they are supposed to say. Talking about feelings is pretty easy. Talking about feelings in a way that connects is a different story.
This is the most vital information I need to impart to you now. A partner who is devoted to the relationship has a strategy that includes both of you, and he shares this plan with you.
2. He Keeps All His Promises And Plans
When he says he’s going to call, he actually does call. When he says he’s going to take you out, he actually does take you out.
Adults who can be relied upon to uphold their word always do so. In today’s world, sadly, this is rare.
These men are not frightened of making a commitment of any kind. It’s what elevates them to the status of superior men. To me, it seems that making a commitment is a borderline sin to many these days, and keeping it is a bit of a shocking surprise. This is different from the way life is supposed to go.
How many people can you really count on to keep their word? When you’ve found one, realize it’s important!
These men treasure you for a reason and don’t want to lose you.
Men who are passive-aggressive and unable to make commitments often make deals but don’t always maintain their end of the bargain. Deals are fine, that’s actually compromise, but if they don’t uphold their end…no, it’s no longer fine.
Asking someone directly, “Do you want to be in a long-term relationship with me?” is one method to cut through the static and noise to get to the heart of the matter. If you’re at that point, this is totally appropriate to me. I’m not suggesting doing it prematurely, but it does it hit a point where it’s appropriate.
3. Making Time For You Is A Priority
My coworkers are all accomplished, yet none have any spare time. They are quite busy but still manage to find time for everything. If it matters, you will find the time.
Because they place high importance on their relationships, they prioritize spending time with YOU. They will still find time to communicate with you even when they are swamped with work. It might be a short message, but your relationship is still high on their priority list.
Their commitments might also take up their time in a career, it matters, and friends matter too, both of which should be considered significant.
But, if it becomes obvious that he is prioritizing other activities or people over you consistently, it may be time to reevaluate the future of your relationship.
To Sum It Up
These things may seem small. No, they are not. It comes down to this, in a busy world, people make time for what matters most. If they’re busy like so many people are yet are still going out to their way to make time for you, I hope it’s something you’ll consider.
