A musical tale gets told in ‘Thelma the Unicorn’
Since I was a kid, I have been a fan of animated movies. Each one has taken me on a pretty amazing adventure that tells a fascinating story. In my adult years I still enjoy watching these films and most of them end up being really good. When I heard about Thelma the Unicorn I hoped I would get a chance to check it out. I was able to get a screener for this movie and here is what I thought of it.

You can read the plot for Thelma the Unicorn here:
Thelma is a small-time pony who dreams of becoming a glamorous music star. In a pink and glitter-filled moment of fate, Thelma is transformed into a unicorn and instantly rises to global stardom. But this new life of fame comes at a cost.
This film is a quirky, hilarious, and heartfelt ride from directors Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite) and Lynn Wang (Unikitty!).

Overall I enjoyed watching this movie. The plot is a little predictable sometimes, and yet it was still fun to see this story unfold. When something unexpected happens to a small pony, it seems all their dreams are finally in reach. Yet to attain these dreams, they might have to make some hard choices. Along the way, they end up learning a lesson or two. Once this film comes to a close it looks like life for this small pony will never be the same. Most people will have a good time watching this movie.
