‘A Good Person’ is out now on Blu-Ray
Since Scrubs, I have always been a fan of Zach Braff. He did a great job with Going in Style which told a pretty good story. I enjoyed Alex Inc and was bummed when it ended up getting cancelled. When I heard about A Good Person coming to Blu-Ray, I was hoping I might get to watch it. I was able to get a review copy of this movie and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for A Good Person here:
Daniel is brought together with Allison, the once thriving young woman with a bright future who was involved in an unimaginable tragedy that took his daughter’s life. As grief-stricken Daniel navigates raising his teenage granddaughter and Allison seeks redemption, they discover that friendship, forgiveness, and hope can flourish in unlikely places.
This was overall a pretty good film. We see someone have something terrible happen, and it changes their life forever. Meanwhile we meet a man whose life isn’t exactly going the way he thought it would be either. When these two people bump into each other at an AA meeting, it seems like it was fated. Yet after some bad decisions get made, it appears this friendship could be done for good. As this film comes to a close though, it looks like life for Allison has a good chance of getting back on track.
A Good Person is available now on Blu-Ray and Digital.
