‘Goat’ Is out now on Digital
As a kid, I loved watching animated films. Each one was a ton of fun and usually took me on some kind of thrilling journey. In my adult years I still enjoy watching these types of movies. When I first heard about Goat, I hoped to eventually get to see it. I was able to get a digital copy of this film and here is my thoughts on it.
You can read the plot for this animated movie here:
The story follows Will, a small goat with big dreams who gets a once-in-a-lifetime shot to join the pros and play roarball – a high-intensity, co-ed, full-contact sport dominated by the fastest, fiercest animals in the world. Will’s new teammates aren’t thrilled about having a little goat on their roster, but Will is determined to revolutionize the sport and prove once and for all that “smalls can ball!”
This was a pretty well done film. Although the plot was a tad obvious at times, it was still a lot of fun to watch it unfold before your eyes. There is action, comedy, drama and suspense as this story moved forward. Once it came to a close, things in this intense sport were never going to be the same. ‘Game Recognizes Game: Making Goat’ had the crew and some of the cast talk about working on this movie and how the story came together. ‘All Star Line Up: Meet the Cast and Characters’ had the people talk about the characters they played a few challenges they faced bringing these characters to life. There are also two Lyric music videos and some cool deleted scenes.
Goat is out now on Digital and arrives on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray and DVD May 5th.
