This super powered family is back in ‘Incredibles 2’
I was rather impressed with The Incredibles. The movie had an all star cast, told an interesting story, had a great villain and was different from most of the other Pixar films at the time. So when news of Incredibles 2 came out, I was excited and looking forward to seeing it. I was able to see it in theaters and really liked it. When I heard it was coming to Blu-Ray I was hoping I would get to watch it again. I was able to get a review copy and this is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for Incredibles 2 here:
Helen is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet, Dash and baby Jack-Jack—whose super powers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible.
It was nice watching Incredibles 2 again. Although it isn’t as good as the first film, it is a good sequel. There were a few predictable moments, but these were few and far between. The deleted scenes were fun to watch and see how this movie could have gone in some different directions. I really liked the ‘Auntie Edna’ mini movie, it was nice to see more of Jack-Jack’s powers show up and her reactions to them were quite hilarious. If you liked the first Incredibles film, then this is a movie you may want to add to your collection. If you want to learn more about Incredibles 2 click on this website.
