Coach takes some big risks in ‘Marvyn Korn Effect’
Last time on Big Shot, we met a coach who was not doing so well. They did something bad, and it cost them a great job. Not only that, but it sullied their reputation. The only option for this fallen coach was to take a job in a new environment. At first they thought they could handle it, but it proved to be harder than they thought. Yet as this episode came to a close it looked like this team was just getting started. Now Marvyn takes on a faculty member in ‘The Marvyn Korn Effect’. I was able to watch a screener of this episode and this is what I thought of it.

Marvyn bumps heads with a faculty member in ‘Marvyn Korn Effect’. After a game, Marvyn realizes something about this team and what he needs to do. They go back to a rough practice schedule, but the team agrees it is working. When a faculty member creates a scheduling conflict for some of the players Marvyn decides to talk to them about it. After saying his piece though this faculty member refuses to budge at all. So Marvyn has a talk with the principal, and things seem to be taken care of. Quickly it becomes clear though that this is far from over. Yet as this episode comes to a close, this team proves just how important all of those practices were by doing something that surprises everyone.
