See lots of Blood and Gore on ‘Ash Vs Evil Dead’
I finally watched The Evil Dead, and I have to say I wasn’t that impressed with it. Yet Ash Vs Evil Dead surprised me in many ways. It had a good blend of comedy, action and lots of crazy violence. I watched all three season, and thought they were quite good. Now the entire series is coming to Blu-Ray. I was able to get a review copy and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for Ash Vs Evil Dead here:
Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell), the chainsaw-wielding, wisecracking antihero of the legendary The Evil Dead films, is back for more gore-filled adventure in this complete 30-episode collection of the Ash vs Evil Dead TV series. Follow Ash’s journey as he returns home to Elk Grove, Michigan, meets his long-lost daughter, and unites with former enemy Ruby (Lucy Lawless) and fellow demon fighters Pablo (Ray Santiago) and Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) for a final blood-splattering stand to save the world!
Ash Vs Evil Dead was a very clever show. It didn’t always take itself seriously, but that is one of the things I like about it. Bruce Campbell has a blast playing Ash again, and finds lots of bloody ways to take out deadites and demons. Each season is crazier than the last, and saving the world from evil gets tougher each time. If you liked the movies, then this is a show you will want to check out.
