Someone is behind a terrible plot in ‘The Witcher’ season 3 volume 1
I have really enjoyed The Witcher so far. We have seen these characters grow and change much in the last few seasons. Along the way we have learned more about their past, and that a mysterious prophecy is in danger of coming true. This season, it looks like someone is putting a devious plot into motion, and only Geralt and Yennefer might be able to stop it. I was able to get screeners for season 3 volume 1 of this show and here is my thoughts on them.

As monarchs, mages, and beasts of the Continent compete to capture her, Geralt takes Ciri into hiding, determined to protect his newly-reunited family against those who threaten to destroy it. Entrusted with Ciri’s magical training, Yennefer leads them to the protected fortress of Aretuza, where they hope to uncover more about the girl’s untapped powers; instead, they discover they’ve landed in a battlefield of political corruption, dark magic, and treachery. They must fight back, put everything on the line – or risk losing each other forever.

There is a lot going on at the first part of season 3. We see Geralt, Yennefer and Ciri moving a lot, mainly because people keep showing up trying to take Ciri away from them. This leads to some intense battles, but ones they always end up winning. When Yennefer comes up with a radical solution, Geralt agrees it is the best place to keep Ciri safe. Turns out this place ends up not being as safe as they hoped once they learn about an awful plot. Just when it looks like it is all taken care of, Yennefer and Geralt come to a shocking realization.
