Hear some funny tales in ‘Once Upon a Workday’
I have read a War and Peas book or two. Although a bit dark, most of the comics made me laugh and were pretty clever too. When I heard about Once Upon a Workday I was looking forward to reading it. I was able to get a digital copy of this graphic novel and here is my thoughts on it.

Told in rhyming verse and delightful comic illustrations, these stories cover everything from heartache and personal growth to creative burnout and searching for the elusive perfect email signature.
These stories of heartache, self-doubt, family conflict, and employment help turn the struggle of becoming an adult in today’s world into something playful, punny, and profound. This book will console and inspire the burnt-out professional in all of us.
I overall enjoyed reading this book. Each section was clever and tried to put a playful spin on a different task. Some of them reminded me almost of Dr. Seuss and appeared to be drawn in a similar style. As this book came to a close I was happy to have some nice laughs. Some readers will have a great time reading this graphic novel.
Once Upon a Workday is out now. You can order this graphic novel on Amazon, at Barnes and Noble and on Bookshop.
