‘Kingsman The Golden Circle’ A okay sequel, but not that great
I really enjoyed Kingsman: The Secret Service. It had great characters, action, drama, suspense, and told an amazing story. It was a surprise hit so naturally a sequel had to be made. I was beyond excited when they announced Kingsman The Golden Circle. I was able to see it early and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for Kingsman The Golden Circle here:
When their headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, their journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the US called Statesman, dating back to the day they were both founded. In a new adventure that tests their agents’ strength and wits to the limit, these two elite secret organizations band together to defeat a ruthless common enemy, in order to save the world, something that’s becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy…
Kingsman The Golden Circle gets 6/10. It was an alright film, but wasn’t as good as the first movie. There were too many cheesy one liners, and the story wasn’t that strong. It also got pretty predictable towards the end. There was plenty of intense action, and a few cool nods to the first film. Some people will like this movie, but it definitely won’t be for everybody.
