Check out this ‘Star Search’ trailer
As a kid, I watched Star Search a few times on TV. They had some amazing talent on there and it was cool to see them give their all to become a star. I also watched the version where Arsenio Hall was the host, and although it wasn’t the same it was still fun to watch. Recently Netflix has released the first trailer for their version of this variety show and here is my thoughts on it.

The talent is bigger, the stakes are higher, and the format is more interactive than ever. Each episode will spotlight the best up-and-coming performers across four categories – music, dance, variety/comedy, kids – as they compete for their shot at stardom. With an arced competition structure and weekly eliminations, the series builds dramatic momentum, making every live episode an unmissable event.
This is kind of a cool trailer. You get introduced to the host who is excited to get to be a part of this show. The judges also get announced and you can tell they are looking forward to helping bring this show to life. If you are a fan of this show then this is a trailer you will want to check out.
Star Search comes out Tuesday January 20th at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT.
