The mission takes a surprise turn in ‘Depends on the Wagon’
Last time on The Mysterious Benedict Society, the kids were told the details of a tough mission. It wasn’t going to be an easy one, but together Mr. Benedict believed they could succeed. The kids get enrolled in a peculiar looking institute with the goal of finding out who is behind the Emergency. As this episode came to a close we learned the identity of the headmaster. Now the mission hits a few snags in ‘Depends on the Wagon’. I was able to watch a screener of this episode and here is what I thought of it.

The kids meet Dr. Curtain for the first time in ‘Depends on the Wagon ‘. They are naturally shocked because they bear a striking resemblance to Mr. Benedict. When Mr. Benedict discovers who they really are, this news certainly takes his breath away. Kate is eager to climb a tower she saw on campus, but the rest of the group thinks it is too risky. One night she decides to check it out anyway and Constance joins her. They get caught but Constance gets them out of a dangerous situation. As this episode comes to a close the mission takes a surprise turn, and the kids aren’t looking forward to doing what is asked of them.
