‘Red One’ is out now on 4K Ultra HD
Every year many holiday movies come out, and they can be hit or miss. When done right, they can be a ton of fun for the whole family to watch together around the holiday season. Yet sometimes a movie comes out that for whatever reason misses the mark. When I heard Red One was coming out on 4K Ultra HD, I hoped I might get the chance to check it out. I was able to get a review copy of this film and here is my thoughts on it.

After Santa Claus is kidnapped, the North Pole’s Head of Security (Dwayne Johnson) must team up with the world’s most infamous bounty hunter (Chris Evans) in a globe-trotting, action-packed mission to save Christmas.
As a whole, I didn’t hate this movie. The visual effects looked amazing and there were plenty of great action sequences. The story was fun to watch unfold and had a few twists as it moved along. What hurt this movie was it just wasn’t a comedy, like in any shape or form. All the jokes fell flat, and I don’t think I laughed at any of them. Not everyone will enjoy this movie, but some people are sure to enjoy them.
