Rex sends a message to the team in ‘War Mantle’
Last time on Star Wars: The Bad Batch, the team returned from a job to find someone had taken Cid’s job. Omega worried they might have been hurt, but turns out they are fine. Cid asks the team for help taking this person down and gives them a tough mission. When it takes a bad turn the team find themselves in a dire situation. Yet as this episode comes to a close the mission ends up being a success. Now Rex sends the team a message in ‘War Mantle’. I was able to watch a screener of this episode and here is what I thought of it.

Rex sends the team an important message in ‘War Mantle’. He wants them to rescue a friend of his who has been captured. There is little intel about it and this is what makes Hunter hesitant to take the mission on at all. But after Echo and Omega give their two cents on the subject he decides to take it on. At first the planet seems pretty ordinary until the team stumbles upon a secret base. It looks like the Empire is making some big changes which takes Hunter and the rest of his team by surprise. When things get bad Hunter contacts Wrecker and Omega for a pick up, but not everyone is able to get away. As this episode comes to a close things don’t look good for someone after a tough order is given.
