‘Good Time’ Differs from most movies in many ways
I have seen some interesting films lately. They try to tell a good story, but sometimes fail miserably. When I heard of Good Time, I wondered if it would be good or not. I was able to get a review copy and here is my thoughts on this movie.

You can read the plot for Good Time here:
After a botched bank robbery lands his younger brother in prison, Constantine “Connie” Nikas embarks on a twisted odyssey through the city’s underworld in an increasingly desperate—and dangerous—attempt to get his brother Nick out of jail. Over the course of one adrenalized night, Connie finds himself on a mad descent into violence and mayhem as he races against the clock to save his brother and himself, knowing their lives hang in the balance.

I didn’t like Good Time that much. The characters aren’t that great, the story is kind of weak and the movie was a tad predictable. This film tries to do something different, but instead becomes one big mess. I found myself shaking my head when each new bad decision just made things worse for everyone involved. The ending made sense and did an okay job bringing this movie to a close. Some people may enjoy this film, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
