Tendi gets invited to a wedding in ‘Something Borrowed Something Green’
Last time on Star Trek: Lower Decks, Boimler led his first away mission. He was so nervous about someone getting hurt, that he refused to let anyone do anything. While this was going on, a computer was on the fritz on an alien mega-structure, and Captain Freeman tried to fix it. This ended up making things worse, and led Boimler to make a tough decision. Yet as this episode came to a close, his mission was a resounding success. Now Tendi gets invited to a wedding on Orion in ‘Something Borrowed Something Green’. I was able to watch this episode and here is my thoughts on it.

Tendi is summoned back to Orion for a wedding.

We see a simple Orion ship at the start of this episode. Then they have a run in with that strange small ship, and things don’t end well for them. Next we see Tendi get an invite for a wedding, and at first she doesn’t want to go. But Mariner talks her into it, and gets herself and T’Lyn to join her. They are excited because Starfleet knows very little about the Orions, and find out some surprising things about Tendi’s family. Meanwhile Rutherford and Boimler have a fight, and find a clever way to work things out. When it turns out someone kidnapped Tendi’s sister, we see her and her friends go on a mission to find them. Once Tendi finds them, something unexpected ends up happening. Yet as this episode comes to a close, Tendi has a touching reunion with her sister and the wedding goes off without a hitch.
