‘The Fabelmans’ is out now on digital
I enjoy a good drama now and then. When done right they can tell some pretty amazing stories. When I heard about The Fabelmans I hoped I might get a chance to watch this film. I was able to get a digital copy of this drama and here is my thoughts on it.
You can read the plot for The Fabelmans here:
A coming-of-age story about a young man uncovering a shattering family secret and the power of film and imagination to help us see the truth about ourselves and each other.
This was a pretty good movie. The story begins with a kid seeing their first motion picture with their parents, and this moment changes their lives forever. When they get a bit older they start making their own pictures, and figure out this is what they want to do with their life. Meanwhile a secret lingers, on that threatens to tear this family apart. As this story comes to a close, we see this young man meet someone who gives them some great advice. In ‘The Fabelmans: A Personal Journey’ we see Spielberg reflecting on how this film is inspired by his own personal story and family. ‘Crafting the World of The Fabelmans’ has the crew talking about all the work they put in on the sets, costumes as well as the film’s unique look.
The Fabelmans is out now on Digital and arrives on Blu-Ray and DVD February 14th. You can follow this film on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
