‘The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard’ is out now on Blu-Ray
I am a big Ryan Reynolds fan. He has been in a lot of great movies over the years, and most of his film are a blast to watch. Samuel L. Jackson has also been in tons of films and has brought a good deal of iconic characters to life. When I saw Hitman’s Bodyguard I really didn’t like it that much. Yet when I heard The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard was coming out on Blu-Ray I decided to check it out. Here is my thoughts on this sequel.

The world’s most lethal odd couple – bodyguard Michael Bryce and hit man Darius Kincaid are back. Still unlicensed, Bryce is forced into action by Darius’s wife, the infamous international con artist Sonia Kincaid. As Bryce is driven over the edge by the volatile spouses, the trio get in over their heads in a global plot and soon find that they are all that stand between Europe and a vengeful and powerful madman. Joining in the fun and deadly mayhem is Morgan Freeman as…well, you’ll have to see.

Man I really didn’t like this sequel. Almost immediately the story got too over the top for me. The story was bland and the characters were completely unlikable. Not only that but the story was painfully predictable. It became too easy to see what was going to happen which left almost no surprises as the story moved along. Follow all this with an ending that made no sense and you get a pretty awful action comedy. Some people might enjoy this sequel but I would suggest steering clear of this one.
