This piece of fiction (as well as the movie) was a great thrill ride, but we can all take something from it. When you’re in a place where you’re facing an adversity, you can ball up and give up, or you can take a deep breath, make some calculations, and press forward.

Even though Oscar season has come and gone, The Martian shows that no matter how well you prepare and execute well-reasoned goals, there is always something overlooked or something unexpected that happens. Life’s guarantee: it will keep you on the ball.
