‘The Wall’ Has a good cast, but isn’t a good film
I get to see a number of films based on war each year. Some tell amazing stories, but not all of them are good. When I heard of The Wall, I was looking forward to watching it. I was able to get a review copy, and here is what I thought of it.

You can read the plot for The Wall here:
A deadly psychological thriller that follows two soldiers pinned down by an Iraqi sniper, with nothing but a crumbling wall between them. Their fight becomes as much a battle of will and wits as it is of lethally accurate marksmanship.

I didn’t like The Wall that much. It was a pretty slow film, and although it tried to tell a good story it failed badly. The story the film tries to tell takes a good while to come into focus. The ending was a bit surprising, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson did a good job playing his character. Some people may like this film, but it definitely won’t be for everyone.
