Hear a pretty good story in ‘Peanut Butter Falcon’
I am lucky to get to see a good amount of films. Some of them are really good, others are okay and there are always a few that just turn out bad. When I heard about Peanut Butter Falcon I hoped it was going to be good. I was able to get a review copy and this is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for Peanut Butter Falcon here:
Follow Zak, a young man with Down syndrome who runs away from a residential nursing home to fulfill his dream of attending the pro wrestling school of his idol, The Salt Water Redneck. On the road, Zak meets Tyler, a small-time outlaw who becomes Zak’s unlikely coach and ally. Together, they set out on a wild, life-changing journey and try to convince Eleanor, a kind nursing-home employee charged with bringing Zak back, to join them.
Peanut Butter Falcon was a pretty good movie. The cast did a great job moving this story along, and it never got dull or boring. There was that good mix of comedy and drama, and the goal of helping someone achieve their dream. I really enjoyed the soundtrack, there were plenty of amazing songs that helped raise the bar on emotional moments in a few key scenes. I don’t know if this movie will be for everyone, but most people might enjoy it.
