‘Trolls Band Together’ is out now on Blu-Ray
I was impressed by the first Trolls movie. It had a stellar cast, put new spins of beloved songs and told a pretty touching story. Trolls World Tour was a good sequel that took viewers on a wild ride as someone tried to put a devious plan into action. Trolls: The Beat Goes On and Trolls: Trollstopia were wonderful shows that took these characters on all kinds of zany adventures. When I heard Trolls Band Together was being made, I thought it could be a fun sequel. I was able to get a review copy of this film and here is what I thought of it.

As Poppy (Anna Kendrick) grows closer to her now boyfriend Branch (Justin Timberlake), she discovers his secret past as a member of her favorite boy-band, BroZone, with his four estranged brothers. When Branch’s bro Floyd is kidnapped for his musical talents by a pair of nefarious pop stars, Branch and Poppy embark on an action-packed journey to reunite the other brothers and rescue Floyd. Along the way Poppy uncovers a family secret of her own, a long-lost sister named Viva.

Overall this was a fun sequel. We see Branch and Poppy embark to reunite with his lost siblings, and face a few trials along the way. We learn more about them and see that some people have nefarious plans for them all. Once this story comes to a close, life for Branch and Poppy will be changed forever. ‘Hi, Hi, Hi’ looked at how amazing it was to bring N’Sync back together for the first time in 20 years to record a song for this film. ‘Fun in the Recording Booth’ showed how much fun the cast had working on this sequel.
