As we enter PTSD Awareness Month this June, one non-profit organization is dedicated to supporting veterans with the strings of a guitar.

About Guitars for Vets
Guitars for Vets (G4V), founded in 2007, serves veterans who suffer from PTSD and other mental distress caused by war through free one-on-one guitar lessons. G4V keeps its lessons personal and tailored to the individual student, allowing veterans to progress at their own pace and stay motivated to achieve individual goals. After veterans graduate from the G4V program, they are always welcomed back for volunteer run group lessons and jam sessions.
