Studies indicate that the IT sector generally offers highly paid and stable jobs. The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) predicts double-digit growth for cybersecurity analysts, database engineers, and software developers by 2029. But even with the tech industry virtually dominating the business landscape, some people would instead pursue their passion like it’s everything. This was the case for the Austrian-born tech entrepreneur Christian Krauter, who became a self-learned Electronic Dance Music (EDM) artist.
A cliché that most motivational speakers say to a jam-packed audience is “Follow your heart,” but can anyone risk it? It almost seems impossible for anyone to pursue what they want during the prevalent economic turmoil that forces many to focus on getting a better paycheck. But Christian Krauter believes otherwise. He thinks that one shouldn’t stop dreaming even at an older age because the dreamer in everyone still lives.
Krauter is an Australian-Austrian entrepreneur and systems engineer who spent his early professional life as a tech genius. As the director and visionary of Datanova, Krauter focuses on delivering cloud-based software solutions to improve care management for participants and elderlies, Aged Care facilities, and disability service providers in Australia and New Zealand. Krauter’s software solution was nominated as the best prospect for the disability sector.
Krauter had another feather in his cap and entered the EDM sector, raising its standards.
Music gives people positive vibes and makes them believe life can be wonderful. In fact, most music enthusiasts believe that music answers questions that words cannot. But there’s a good chance that most musicians don’t believe that. This is one of the reasons why Krauter’s music journey stands out. Unlike working for fame and fortune, Krauter uses his music to educate people about the importance of following their passion, and it’s never too late to fulfill their childhood dreams. In an interview, Krauter said, “Pursuing your fantasies will build up your fortitude. It is your fuel to make astounding progress throughout everyday life, follow your visions, and exercise mental fortitude. Surely, with time, you will be relentless.”
Krauter’s approach is like a breath of fresh air in a world disrupted by the sorrows of life. People are constantly heading toward a stagnant path, perhaps on a river bound to dry up. The only source of conviction for people is surviving their daily races. With no direction, everyone seems like they are headless chickens. Krauter’s devotion is what separates him from the masses
Krauter explains that passion can get you through the darkest of times. Humans need different goals to drive them forward. If things become convenient for them, they will lose the process of learning and growing. So, apart from his duties of leading one of the most promising cloud-based companies in Australia, in 2017, Krauter started to learn to mix music and technology. He became a force to be reckoned with in the EDM genre.
The self-taught EDM artist already had a steady career, but at 54, he took a chance to pursue his passion. Although DJ mixes are mostly meant for discos or clubs, his musical pieces have the subtlety to be played in any festive setting. His most successful EDM piece, “Lost Control,” takes people into an energetic frenzy, like a caffeine rush. Krauter has released over 60 tracks, with no signs of stopping anytime soon.
Passionate people often say that life is too short and they can only achieve so much. Krauter is one of them and educates the masses that they shouldn’t compromise. There’s no point working in an environment one doesn’t like just for a hefty paycheck. It seems logical in today’s tough economic times, but Krauter thinks otherwise.
Most young people out there are inspired by people like Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, but is anyone ready to accept the dedication they had to put in? Perhaps because everyone is fixated on riches, they don’t like to bury themselves in the efforts required. Krauter’s journey is an indication that anyone can fulfill their dreams.
Krauter believes that one should work to realize their fantasies and become better at that. An existence without dreams can be discouraging; Christian Krauter is a living example. His peers didn’t believe that a tech-savvy individual like him would take the music world by storm. It’s a success story that can inspire many. It also shows that there’s no age limit to pursuing a passion.
With Datanova’s oh-so-obvious rise, it’s only a matter of time that the Australian-Austrian entrepreneur and self-taught EDM artist’s name makes headlines on every news channel. It is not every day you get to hear an IT extraordinaire making waves in the music industry. The life of a musician is tough, especially given the digital age. With Krauter’s technical experience, he has taken the music landscape by storm.
For now, it’s safe to say that the world is Krauter’s oyster.
