Today, I am happy to bring to you, Anik Singal. He is the CEO of LURN and author of the bestselling book, The Circle of Profit.
Robert Kiyosaki (Author of the NY Times Bestseller, Rich Dad Poor Dad) and The Secret’s Bob Proctor (Author of You Were Born Rich) have endorsed Anik among many others.
Perhaps, you have seen him on stage at TEDx. Maybe you have seen him on the cover of Bloomberg Businessweek or featured in The Huffington Post.
In our interview, I wanted him to share some insights to help aspiring and struggling entrepreneurs reach the finish line in their online business.
Kallen: Anik, many entrepreneurs want to make more money online for the obvious reasons – location independence and ultimately financial freedom.
In your opinion, what is the best way to start an online business with low startup costs, no physical products, and the ability to turn your passion into profits?
Anik: Kallen, I actually get asked the question a lot. Being an affiliate marketer is a great way to enter the space, but I would have to say digital publishing. This proven business model has helped me consistently generate over $10 million a year and build the life of my dreams.
It has also given me the ability to travel the world, spend time with my family, and create products that I truly believe in for an incredible community of digital entrepreneurs – LurnNation!
Kallen: Wow! So, explain us what exactly is digital publishing.
Anik: Digital publishing is when you package information and sells it to customers who want to solve problems in their lives. The good news is that the internet has made creating and distributing information products easier than ever.
Today, you can create high quality written, audio, and video content for pennies. All you need is a computer and free or inexpensive software, and you’re off to the races.
Kallen: Well, you know my next question as the audience desperately wants to know about …
Anik: Marketing! Marketing is also much easier. You don’t need to spend a bunch of money on ads in magazines and newspapers.
Instead, you can spend a small amount of money on highly-targeted ads on Facebook and Google. If you don’t want to spend any money at all, you can build an audience using social media, blogs, and forums.
The great things about digital publishing are the low startup cost, easy scalability, and potential for massive growth.
Kallen: Indeed! I have never really thought about it much, but your description makes me a digital publisher. I definitely agree with the advantages!
What would you say are the steps to digital publishing success?
Anik: Great question! There are seven of them.
Step 1: Pick The Right Niche
Step 2: Create A Product Your Customers Want
Step 3: Profit Multiplier
Step 4: Delivery
Step 5: Messaging
Step 6: Ignition
Step 7: Grow
Kallen: Excellent! Where can people learn more about each step in your 7 step process?
Anik: They can check out my blog post, 7 Steps to Turn Your Passion into Profits by Starting Your Own Digital Publishing Business.
Kallen: Thanks for spending a few minutes to talk to our audience!
Anik: Kallen, thank you!
