We live in a time where outsourcing, freelancing, stay at home jobs, and offshoring employment is getting more and more trendy and desired. Gone are the days when we had to explain to people what these terms actually are.
Gone are the days when we had to convince others that joining these sources brings legit income, and we are not jobless. We are not doing it out of compulsion, lack of jobs, and qualification.
Many get confused between outsourcing and offshoring, though. Especially when you are in the Asian Continent, explaining things could be difficult. None could really expect one to work virtually.
The difference between outsourcing and offshoring is huge, but it seems like there is no difference. Outsourcing could be done within your country. You outsource, you earn, and you pay tax.
On the other hand, companies that offshore hire employees from different countries and those people work under the company from their own country. They are not US citizens. They do not live in the USA but work under the USA company.
As we stated, offshoring is picking up its pace pretty well. Companies are hiring offshore employees from India and many other countries for different reasons. But the main reason, in our opinion, is to stay in budget but get high-efficiency performance from the employees. People in countries like India are known for their hard work at a meager labor cost. So, you get 100% performance but spend a lot less.
However, that doesn’t decrease the scope those people get through offshoring. Those who are into it earn way more than people who have taken routine jobs in India. They stay in their own country, in a friendly environment but make as high as six digits. It is a win-win situation for any individual living in countries like India if you could avoid the adversities of English not being your first language, the time zone, and beyond. The scope is vast and fruitful.
Now, hopefully, we could cut down the bad name that offshoring had in your mind. Perhaps you are getting interested in trying to employ yourself in one of the companies that hire offshore workers.
If you are living in India, you are in a great space. There are a couple of sources that help you get into offshoring and make a healthy living out of it. Even if you do not have those sources, you can try all by yourself because offshoring employees are high in demand nowadays.
Keep in mind that it is a job. You have to be qualified to be selected. There will be proper interviewing for you to get elected, just like any regular job. The only difference is that it happens virtually. You are paid online in most cases. Basically, it’s different from getting paid while working in an office.
You will have to work hard; you will need to know your job. The more you know and work hard, the better you earn and shine. It’s simple rules of day to day jobs.
You might actually find it easier. Asians and people of other developing countries are mostly used to working 12-15 hours a day, even if they are paid way less. As an offshore employee, you might not need to work so long. But if you need to, you can and impress all.
If you are interested in hiring employees for your company, just know offshoring is not only for big companies. You can hire offshore employees even if you are an entrepreneur and have no office space, and do not even want that. Simply search for a good source that will help you to build a team. You invest, and the rest of the job is up to the professionals in this field of hiring offshoring employees.
Though many might see it as a disadvantage to the USA’s own citizens and for people overseas, not a very steady career, it, in our opinion, is a matter of leap of faith. You leap and take the scope to reap the benefits of this enormous opportunity.
