Ever heard of Bitcoin? Cryptocurrency? Blockchain?
If you have, then you probably feel curious, or skeptical, or confused about them. Personally, I was REALLY confused, and so I took the time to study what the fuss was all about.
After all that studying, I’m here to tell you quite frankly: Every man MUST know about cryptocurrency. All indications suggest it’ll be a valuable tool to help you achieve your goals, both in life and business.
In this article, I’ll give a brief explanation of why understanding cryptocurrency is so important, how it works, and what it means for you in the long run.
Why Every Man Must Understand Cryptocurrency
The good news about cryptocurrency is that you don’t need to COMPLETELY understand it. It’s just like your car, or your TV, or your Internet connection – you just need to understand it enough to get 100% of its benefits.
Here’s what you DO need to know…
Cryptocurrency’s underlying technology is called Blockchain. It’s a new way of storing information in a database. Instead of storing your transaction information in a central server (which is vulnerable to hacking), it records the transaction as a “block” on a “chain” of transactions – hence the name, “blockchain.”
The blockchain is then stored in a peer-to-peer network, so that anyone who wanted to exploit it would have to exploit EVERY computer in the network – impossible to do.
If a hacker wanted to change any information in any block on a chain, they’d have to change EVERY SUCCEEDING BLOCK as well. Since the information is encrypted, and there are more blocks being added to the chain all the time, it’s virtually impossible to do.
That’s the main advantage of cryptocurrency. It’s super-secure, it’s free from government control, and there’s no need to pay any middleman fees for transactions.
What it Means For You and Your Business
Today, governments, banks, and lending institutions are all studying blockchain and cryptocurrency. They know it’s here to stay, and they know it’s going to massively change the way we’ll handle money and information in the near future.
So should you.
As your family and business portfolio grows, you’ll need to know how to protect your hard-earned money from economic recessions, hackers, and government control. And cryptocurrency is fast-becoming one of the most widely-accepted ways to do all three at the same time.
I’m a firm believer in learning from the past to protect your future. The 2008 Recession taught us that while fiat currency system is a reasonably good way to protect against economic downturns, you’ll also want to put your money where the government – or anyone else – can’t touch it. And right now, cryptocurrency is the way to go.
