“Spring is just around the corner,” says this Daffodil, probably artificial, made in Taiwan and stuck in by the Council at a cost of about 500 quid apiece.

I went for a trip down Memory Lane the other day. Specifically, to a park I used to go to with my little girl.
Incredibly, the park is still there and so is the tree we used to play under. We called it the “round and round tree”, because we went round and round and round, endlessly, regardless of the weather.
You know kids, they don’t want to go in, even on a bitter Winters’ day when her fingers were frozen like little chipolatas.
