A recent Facebook post that was the beginning verse of a new chapter in my life:
“Yesterday, when driving to work I had an overwhelming sense of anxiety since, in the past few weeks, I have been noticing a flagging of energy and as people have been pointing out, shortness of breath. On my son’s insistence and under threat of him telling my sister to make me do it, I made an appointment with my cardiologist since I haven’t had a check up in two years. I was doing annual checkups for the first five years post heart attack in 2014. I have been maintaining an exercise regimen, med regimen, supplements, nutritional awareness, taking time to push the re-set button, getting enough sleep, setting boundaries, and allowing myself to receive and not always feeling gived-out.
