In this episode of Inclusion Evolution, Lisa and Mike discuss two cases currently before the US Supreme Court that provide a potential opportunity for the Court to overrule affirmative action in college admissions programs.
Listen as they discuss the originals of affirmative action, the prior cases involving it, the current consolidated cases before the court brought by Students for Fair Admissions against Harvard and University of North Carolina, and the almost five hour long oral argument that took place in October of 2022.
Finally, Lisa and Mike try to read the tea leaves and predict how the Court will rule and discuss the implications if the Court does end affirmative action.
