Dads and husbands, listen up.
All those amazing, filtered pictures of the wife and kids on Instagram and Facebook? Get them in a book. Or a pillow. Seriously.
For my eighteenth wedding anniversary, I’m redoing and updating the pictures on walls on the way up the stairs to all canvas (instead of the yellowing frames). Those pictures of us before kids? They need their own photo books. All those perfectly edited pictures of the kids on social media?
And each kid deserves a photo book of their very own–one from their early days, and one every few years, for posterity and something to have in hand besides a smartphone full of random photos that don’t matter as much as prints.
Parents can never have enough pictures of those pre-kid days, or of the early days of the munchkins, or of all the milestones that seem both forever ago and yesterday. Photo books from CanvasChamp make for a better coffee table as well–when the kids have that first day of school picture, or the perfect summer beach photo (that you’ll use for your Christmas card).
Softcover or hardcover picture books also make perfect gifts for grandma and grandpa to show off to their friends (they will “Like” them all the better In Real Life).
Any way you frame it–I’ve got plans for the hundreds of beautiful pictures that have been liked, loved, and commented on through the years, whether they are of our honeymoon, the years before kids, or the years since the first one was born.
Bottom line–we’ve taken a ton of pictures, and our house should show it. And photo books are perfect, efficient keepsakes–just the important ones, preserved in time.
