I’m not searching for the One. The Ones are everywhere.
Cashiers bantering about cryptocurrency: 123-second digital love affair.
Lyft drivers spilling secrets: 11-minute five-dollar bliss.
Baristas, bloggers, bartenders, we melt together in everyday love affairs.
Falling in love: so precious, but not special. No fireworks, Harry Potter wand, glitter, or incantation. It is the space between breaths where we meet and meld. Words bind us together in simple bliss. The dumb joke, shared smile, knowledge we’re not so achingly alone in this world.
This falling in love is not scanty and sparse. It’s this minute and that—and that one, too.
