When she told me that she fucked another man, I thought she was kidding. And I laughed. Until I realized she that wasn’t laughing with me.
The anger that I felt was the quiet kind; the dangerous kind that grows slowly and lets you feel like you’re in control of it – until you’re not.
I’ve been here before. It’s a demon I know. So I asked “Why?” so that I could understand before the anger became too much. “Because I wanted to.” She replied.
For some reason that explanation made much more sense the second time she used it.
