We’ve passed each other several times exchanging pleasantries. As we sit in this room, you at your table me at mine, with nothing but space and opportunity separating us, I wonder what’s different about this moment. I looked away from the television for just a moment, watching you play with your hair deep in thought. As I studied the fullness of your lips, I wonder why’ve never shared a moment like this. Determined to change that, I wrote a note with my number on a napkin, leaving it on your for you to see, wondering what our next moment might be.
