Here are 7 lessons learnt from him
“The universe is working behind your back to ensure that you are a successful entrepreneur. If you accept your paranoia, it will be lot simpler to accomplish your goals.”
Unconventional success necessitates the use of unconventional methods.
The majority of people would prefer to be wrong with the crowd than to be right by themselves.
Keep in mind that the social incentives of conformity outweigh the social rewards of isolation.
If you can avoid seeking other people’s approval, your influence is virtually boundless.
Goals are a load of nonsense.
People who are successful and those who are unsuccessful share the same objectives.
You will never be able to reach the height of your ambitions. You inevitably regress to the level of your previous behaviours.
Goals are nothing more than dreams. They become a reality as a result of our habits.
Hard labour is overrated.
The importance of consistency cannot be overstated.
When it comes to baseball, it is not about how hard you swing your bat.
To hit it out of the park, one must repeatedly swing until one learns to do so.
Hard work will not get you where you want to go unless you are consistent.
You acquire confidence after doing something difficult rather than before.
Too many people never attempt difficult tasks because they believe that confidence is a precondition, while it is a side effect of the process.
Learning to learn
The ability to learn how to learn is the ultimate meta-skill.
There are only so many hours in a day to learn anything by doing it yourself.
Make friends with intellectual people and read as much as you can to broaden your horizons.
Learn via the writings and experiences of others to gain a better understanding of yourself.
Social Intelligence
Social intelligence is more important than IQ.
School is a single-player game with simple controls and straightforward directions. Life is a multi-player game in which there are no rules or instructions.
Social intelligence is just as crucial as IQ when it comes to success.
Time > Money
Time is the most valuable commodity in life.
Many people continue to live in a cycle of adaptive poverty because they spend their earnings on luxury items that they believe will impress others.
Amateurs use their money to elevate their social standing. Professionals utilise their earnings to purchase time independence and control over their schedules.
Just though something is not your fault does not absolve you of your responsibilities.
Take Charge
Take responsibility for your life.
Never raise your voice in a complaint. Never blame someone else. Everything you are thinking and feeling is entirely your own fault and responsibility. Learn to accept failure as a part of life.
For the first time in history, the cost of failure is lower than it has ever been.
It makes no difference how many times you fail. Just keep swinging until you hit the ball out of the ballpark.
