But since then, the star of man who built Breitbart has been falling: He lasted as Senior Adviser to the President for just seven months and most recently went all out backing Roy Moore in the Alabama Senatorial race. On Tuesday, Moore was defeated by Doug Jones, the first Democrat to be elected senator in the state in 25 years. Republicans have since been playing the blame game, with Bannon & Co. pointing fingers at Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) for first shunning Moore and then not fully supporting him. But Bannon’s wholehearted endorsement of Moore, even after numerous accusations of sexual misconduct by the candidate emerged, clearly didn’t make any sort of difference. Thus far, President Trump isn’t abandoning his former guru, with whom he still speaks frequently, according to ABC News. Social was never a big fan, and now Bannon’s already weak standing has taken another hit: Over the last day, he has a 26 percent positive score. That’s a 12-point drop from the previous 89 days. –Alex Shultz
