There are two types of people who will tell you that you cannot make a difference in this world: those who are afraid to try and those who are afraid you will succeed. – Ray Goforth
What I do well as a mom.
I am an A-type personality an excellent organizer and planner. I not only focus on giving a lot of support and cuddles to my kids, but I also plan all our family vacations as I believe quality time are the moments that our children will remember for the rest of their lives. I believe that I excel at providing my children with the love and support they need to develop a strong sense of self.
What I learned from another mom.
I learned how to provide a healthy family environment that allows your children to develop a strong inner and outer voice with a sense of empowerment.
Lesson learned from my child.
My kids taught me how to see the world with wonder and awe – a perspective I’d lost touch with as an adult.
Successful motherhood moment.
I watched anxiously as my kids boarded the bus to go on a two-week overnight camp. When they smiled at me and waved goodbye and then didn’t look back as the bus pulled away, I knew I’d succeeded in providing them with the independence and strength they need to embrace the world head-on.
Mother I admire.
Susan Wojcicki, the CEO of YouTube, has five children and ensures she’s home for dinner with her family. I admire her dedication to her family along with the fact that she is setting a great example for women, proving that mothers can be successful career women. I also respect that she is an advocate for the rights of working mothers as the world still has a lot of double standards when it comes to women in business.
