Burning Bridges, Not in the Sun

There comes a time in our lives when things become more real. After squeezing the orange so much, we realize that what remains is a huge liter of highly concentrated juice, yet very smooth.

And no matter how tough you are, it’s time to realize that from life experiences, what remains is the learning.

From all we have lived, we can now absorb the lessons learned along the enchanted road of time, measured by the strength of our resilience. May we realize that we are miles away from everything that once imprisoned us, making us accomplices to a crime that never paid off.

It’s time to roll up our sleeves and embrace duty and struggle, which insists on showing us that despite everything, we are still here, firm, strong, yet constant. Absolutely nothing will bring us down, and the taste of victory wisely conquered by us will be the tool and the bridge we need to cross, to always be masters of ourselves.

We may not always have all the answers, but life will always point us in the right direction. We must know ourselves more and more until we reach the conclusion that we have done enough for ourselves.

The day will come when we can lie under the sun, fully aware that staying exposed to it for too long will surely cause irreversible damage, and that this damage, though harmless at the moment, will cause us burns and probable headaches in the future.

So let’s realize that we shouldn’t just wait for the perfect opportunity, that many times it will be necessary and necessary to have obligations with ourselves, because we are inaccurate, but always wiser than what is to come. We must go there and finally fulfill all that is necessary for us to do.

We must and can do this mainly for ourselves, because rest assured that no one will embrace a cause as noble as the one we can direct to ourselves. Let us know that it is the function of character to assume more dignified postures in our lives. And we must give possible offenders of our paths the opportunity to stay exactly where they are, and not offer them any chance to advance into territory where they were not invited to be.

It is up to us to set the boundaries that must be carefully directed towards us. Let’s preserve our consciences, and may they have the worthy function of putting all the dots on the “i’s” that are missing inside us…

Let us be worthy of what God judges that we, by free will, be dignified. And may life always point us in the right direction, where our dreams will be the goals that need to be carefully achieved by me, by you, and by everyone. It will always be worth believing that behind every doubt, there will be the belief that the train of life will arrive with firm certainty at its final destination, at the most opportune moment.

That people are and will be the pawns that will remain in motion, and that it will only fall to the ground when the game of life is won and finally finished, putting an end to what we can call the dwelling of men here.

The time will come when we can all add to each other, instead of what many of us are accustomed to doing, which is subtracting what could be divided or multiplied through appropriate coexistence in this society that is deeply ill.

Let’s make a difference, and be sure that at the end of this game, the pawn and the queen will return to the same box, and that everything experienced by us will be hanging on the pages of this time, where everything is allowed to happen, knowing that we must always be ready to start over, without faltering, and when we falter, may we rise again with dignity, wisdom, and love, always once more, so that we forget that the guy upstairs never abandons anyone.
