It is this month my first novel is publishing entitled Waiting for Regina, which gives attention to the theme of colorism without saying the actual word. I am thankful for this article which may help encourage open discussion about the subject.
Such conversation may aid people to weigh consciously what is our personal responsibility to one another as fellow residents on this sphere of humanity. Should a person be regarded less worthy than others for something he or she had no biological control of, the color of their skin?
