Three teenagers interviewed three gay elders about their lives, and got a look at how much has changed.
Being gay is America is not easy or perfect. We’re busy fighting for marriage equality and against job discrimination. But compared to the experiences of these three (2 men, 1 woman) in the 1950’s, we’ve come a long way. The three teens had no access to a gay history class, so they went straight to the source to find out what life was like long before “gay pride”.
