Let’s start off with an example.
You’ve got a job you love and you’ve been there for several years. You love your work and your co-workers seem to think you’re pretty good. Life is good in the workplace.
Then out of the blue you’re involved in a horrible accident or get sick and have something happen to your brain that doesn’t allow you to function the same way as before.
What happens then when it comes to your great job?
First off, I hope and pray that nothing like that ever happens to you, but what would you do if your boss tells you sorry, that they don’t think you can perform your job skills any longer, even though you know you can with a few modifications to the way things are done?
Now imagine that you were born with a disability, either hidden or visible and never got the chance to have that great job in the first place. How would you feel watching other people get jobs you know you could perform if only given the right support?
That support is called Reasonable Accommodation and is the subject of our group Mental Health and Wellness call on Thursday, February 7, at 9 pm Eastern/6 pm Pacific.
My guest is Dawn Westmoreland, Good Men Project columnist and a human resources consultant with 27 years of experience. Dawn provides a “How to” system for eradicating bullying and discrimination to executive teams, global leaders and a host of other groups.
Please join us and take advantage of her expertise during this hour-long conversation where we all get the chance to join in, ask questions and share our opinion.
This is one of the best topics that we’ve had in quite a while and I’m excited to hear what Dawn has to say to us all.
The call information is below and I hope to hear from you Thursday night, February 7, 2019.

As you become a deeper part of the conversation—The Conversation No One Else is Having—you will learn all of the ways we support our Writers’ Community—community FB groups, weekly conference calls, classes in writing, editing platform building and How to Create Social Change.
