The lack of equal human rights was the only reason the history of humankind was bad. I have built a theory about equal human rights which will simply, unavoidably, and unconditionally build a good society.
In the economy, equal human rights must start with the right to employment. Unemployment is the primary origin of economic injustice. Unemployed workers have to accept low paid jobs to be able to feed their families. The profit of the rich was always based on the exploitation of workers. The rich do not let people know about it, but I can prove it. In the 14th Century, the Black Death killed one-third of the European population which suddenly increased demand for workers. Historian and economist Thorold Rogers stated that the shortage of workers on the market increased the workers’ salaries 2-3 times over a year. The higher purchasing power of workers busted the economy from which everyone benefited. So are we going to wait for another catastrophe or would we be smart enough to eliminate unemployment to bring justice and prosperity to the world?
We may enforce full employment by shortening work hours proportionately to the unemployment rate. Then, employers would have to fight each other to get employees, and that will be accomplished by raising workers’ salaries. The just market would bring justice to the economy. It would not matter anymore how the rich get the money; they would have to share it with the poor. This is the only single measure that might bust the economy and make all benefit from it. I wrote more about it in the article: “Let’s remove Unemployment.”
There is a simple measure based on equal human rights that will make a just policy of society. It is based on the mutual evaluation of people. Let each person get the same right to evaluate other people. Let a positive assessment bring a small reward to the assessed person and let a negative evaluation carry a little punishment. What would we get with it? People will respect each other. They will try to produce the most benefits they could to other people and diminish all possible disadvantages. All social good comes from it. This will affect every instance of complex social relationships and ultimately make a good society.
People have always been directed by ideologies all their lives which had the primary intention to ensure control over them. That is why they are not able to recognize the right path and do not trust that my idea will work. I can try to defend it by presenting a similar evaluation of YouTube. People may evaluate other peoples’ videos by giving likes and dislikes. No more than 5% dishonest evaluations were ever performed, and that means 95% of assessments are honest and moral. Why would this not be achieved within my idea of the assessment among people? This is the only single measure which can make a good society and it will. I have presented a simple variation of the system of evaluation in the article: “The Future of Democracy.” I wrote an even simpler variation for Facebook here: “Permanent votes would improve Facebook.”
We cannot create a better society with old ideas that have never worked. We need to be brave enough to accept new ones. Equal human rights will bring an organic change which would significantly improve society where nothing but the prosperity would be possible. It will naturally come bringing a bright future to humankind, a flourished society, and build a heaven on earth. My book “Humanism,” available free of charge online, clearly presents it.
