When I give articles on time management and productivity, on average readers suffer from sleep deprivation, lack of exercise, mediocre-to-poor eating habits, and years without a medical check-up.
Beyond the basics of physical care, having healthy habits means listening to your body, knowing when it needs to recharge, and honoring that need. If you’ve worked a long…
Ok…
This is not meant to be boring, in the big basic picture I guess y’all see where this going but it is not. I’m not going to put spinach juice in the morning in this one.
I guess I’m here to make it vigorously simple and worked for me 100% and yes this one really helped me a lot in order to put my focus sharp daily.
…
Lists of healthy habits help me post new content every day, here we go.
1. Change how you understand sleep.
This is the main reason why so many people at the coffee shop were stunned. I mean dumbfounded.
Do you see sleep as the end of the day or as the start of the next? People who don’t get enough sleep think it’s the end of the day (which they don’t want to end), but people who get enough sleep think it’s the start of the next.
People who sleep well plug themselves in overnight like a cell phone to get ready for the next day. Relaxation can help you wind down an hour or two before you usually go to sleep:
- Listen to music instead of watching your phone
- Read novels and poetry instead of nonfiction newspaper
- Drink a cup of soothing herbal tea ( I used oolong tea )
- Use a dim light
2. Get the oxygen shifting
Before I start, I want to say that I need fresh air to keep my brain working, even though I am a smoker.
Yes, I smoke, and it has helped me a lot, but if you don’t, don’t even think about starting.
Find a way to exercise and start slowly. Aim for thirty minutes of exercise three times a week. It doesn’t matter if you walk, dance, run, cycle, do aerobics, or kickbox.
If you haven’t worked out in a while, it can be hard to get started again. But after a week or two, you’ll feel so good that you won’t be able to stop working out.
The goal is to connect you to your muscles and get oxygen flowing, which will make you feel better and help you think more clearly (in addition to all the great things exercise does for your body).
3. Book for checkups
Seriously, just clap on this article and make a callsSet up appointments with your family doctor, gynecologist, dentist, and any other doctors you’ve been putting off.
Take a few days off and do all of your checkups at the same time. If you don’t have a doctor in any of these specialties, call a friend and ask for a referral in the next ten minutes.
These days, there are a lot of friends who can’t call because it’s too late. So many of the people I know don’t believe in therapy, and they look so much older than I do now.
4. Master your energy sources
Be aware of the variety of ways you need to recharge. Every time you feel overwhelmed or confused, figure out what you need to do to right yourself.
Social contact? Alone time ? New air? It might seem silly to tell you to think so hard about this, but I’ve found that when we’re too busy taking care of other people, the last person we think about is ourselves.
We don’t even know what we need anymore. If you tend to forget what gives you energy, write it down on a small piece of paper and keep it in your wallet.
This card is just a point of reference, like the sticker on the front left windshield of your car that tells you to change the oil.
5. Dress the part
Do you buy the best products you can afford for yourself? How you treat yourself shows if you see yourself as a new car or an old, beat-up station wagon.
My suggestion? Make your image of yourself an Aston Martin. Spending a little more than you usually do is a great way to show yourself that you’re special. You’ll start to feel happier and more productive very quickly.
While staying fiscally responsible, buy nice clothing, soap, sheets, and paper products you can afford, and when traveling, treat yourself to the nicest hotel you can.
Its just a mindset. Even when money is tight, giving yourself a few small pleasures tells your soul that you deserve a good life.
My final thought
Unhealthy habits and self-care can be a result of low self-confidence and low self-confidence can be the result of lack of intention and lack of intention can be a result of the destruction of your plan.
Believe it or not if you think this as a secondary needs you going to be burn out.
Healthy habits are a controllable, objective factor that can be evaluated as a stand-alone discipline. The benefit of starring here is that getting healthy often boosts your confidence, a double benefit.
I think to get the big picture you should see this too.
