Last week, the Yankees advanced to the AL Division Series by beating the Cleveland Indians 10-9 in an epic edge-of-our-seats Game 2. The biggest hero and the biggest moments of this game of many heroes and many big moments was Yankee third baseman, Gio Urshela.
The former Indians prospect and stud defender, was released by Cleveland two years ago. At the time, the story was that he just couldn’t hit. That has certainly changed. The defensive whiz, Urshela has become a consistent and productive fixture in the middle of the Yankee lineup and at third base. And last week, he marked his arrival against his old team – showing off with both the bat and the glove – in dramatic fashion.
