Last week saw the conclusion of MLB’s Fall Classic, and the crowning of the Los Angeles Dodgers as Champions for the first time since 1988. Although the global pandemic of 2020 made the baseball season a touch-and-go proposition this year, the season, playoffs, and World Series provided fans with some incredible moments.
The two we are highlighting here illustrate the highs and lows of the game. If you were rooting for the Rays, they take you from a shocking low to a euphoric high. If you were rooting for the Dodgers, your rollercoaster goes in the opposite direction. If you’re just a baseball fan, you just got to sit back and take it all in.
Here is Jomboy with the breakdown of the instant classic that was the finish to Game 4, a euphoric moment for the Tampa Rays and for pretty much everyone watching, except the Dodgers and Dodger fans:

Here is Jomboy with the breakdown of Rays Manager, Kevin Cash’s fateful decision to remove Blake Snell from Game 6 and to turn things over to Nick Anderson. This did not end well for the Tampa Rays:

You captured the essence of the big win. It was a hard choice for MVP: Corey Seager or Kevin Cash.
