RSVP for Love Sex Etc. Calls
It happened the moment you met her; it happened in an instant; you weren’t prepared, and suddenly it started. You met someone, and out of the blue you can feel that sweet, tender, soft feeling beginning in your heart, the rush of excitement when you are with her. When she looks at you, your heart soars to heights you never thought were possible before; when she looks away or at someone else, a slight ripping feeling is felt in your heart, until she turns back to look at you and it is instantly healed and restored! You spend nights thinking about her – you can’t sleep. Schoolwork is a distraction; homework takes forever; you spend your lessons daydreaming in a reverie. Are you in love?
NOT YET. What I have described above is a full-on crush and it can happen at any time, to boys or girls. It’s exciting, dynamic, transforming, exhilarating – but, actually, it’s not love. So what IS love? These are the differences between a crush and love –
1. A CRUSH – A crush is very exciting, your emotions are up and down all the time, you can’t think about studying, can’t sleep at night, you think about the one you love all the time, you are always worrying, you feel scared that he or she will leave you, you can’t always trust him or her, your heart beats fast, a crush lasts a short time, when it ends, you feel sad, plus it always ends.
2. LOVE – Love feels very peaceful, your emotions are steady, you find that you can study better than before, you sleep well, you think about the one you love in quiet moments, don’t worry much, you feel confident that he or she will stay with you, you can trust him or her, your heart beats fast at the time you want it to, love lasts a long time, if it ends, you still feel happy that it happened, plus it can continue forever, even after death.
Crushes are not real. Love is real. If you have a crush on someone, it means you don’t love him or her yet. Crushes always end, but it could end by developing into true love, which would be great. However, if this doesn’t happen, then a crush is likely to end rather badly.
I hope this information helps you to understand the difference so that you can identify true love when you’ve found it!

“Here’s the thing about The Good Men Project. We are trying to create big, sweeping, societal changes—–overturn stereotypes, eliminate racism, sexism, homophobia, be a positive force for good for things like education reform and the environment. And we’re also giving individuals the tools they need to make individual change—-with their own relationships, with the way they parent, with their ability to be more conscious, more mindful, and more insightful. For some people, that could get overwhelming. But for those of us here at The Good Men Project, it is not overwhelming. It is simply something we do—–every day. We do it with teamwork, with compassion, with an understanding of systems and how they work, and with shared insights from a diversity of viewpoints.” —– Lisa Hickey, Publisher of The Good Men Project and CEO of Good Men Media Inc.
