Michael Kasdan kicks off our new Monday sports round-up feature with an off-beat take on Odell Beckham, The Red Sox, and Kentucky Wildcats basketball.
1. Giants Wunderkind WR Odell Beckham, Jr. Makes a Not-To-Be-Believed Catch

Of course, the Photoshoppers and meme-makers are on this in full force already:

2. Baseball’s Hot Stove Is Heating Up – The Red Sox Moving and Shaking
Pablo Sandoval, of the World Series Champion SF Giants, to the Boston Red Sox.
Hanley Ramirez, the best hitting short-stop in baseball, to the Boston Red Sox. And there is apparently more coming.
On the other hand, the Yankees get A-Rod back.
*crickets*
I said: “The Yankees get A-Rod back.”
*dammit*
@Buster_ESPN And the Yankees are well positioned for nothing. — Michael Kasdan (@michaelkasdan) November 24, 2014

3. There Appear To Be Some Unbalanced Matchups In Men’s NCAA Basketball: Kentucky 86, Montana State 28.
There is a reason that Kentucky is ranked number one in the SEC and in the nation, and there is a reason that Montana State is last in the Big Sky Conference. It’s because the Wildcats are ever-so-slightly better at playing basketball.
Final from Rupp: UK 86, Montana State 28. It’s the fewest points UK has allowed in a game in the shot-clock era. — Kentucky Basketball (@KentuckyMBB) November 24, 2014
Poor Montana State.
Here’s the box score from another defensive masterpiece by the Wildcats. UK held Montana State to 19.7% shooting. pic.twitter.com/r8ulRcwKNn

Though don’t feel too bad for them. We do hear that Montana is a very scenic and beautiful state . . . .
